Hey, So Glad You're Here. This is going to be a website that emphasizes the importance of Physical and Mental Health as a D1 Student-Athlete. I hope you enjoy!

Hey there! I am Caroline Darracott, a proud Newnan, Georgia native, and a Senior at Troy University. I've spent my entire life on the volleyball court, and I can truly say I never knew a world without it. Growing up as the youngest of three kids, volleyball was always my go-to sport—and it shaped so much of who I am today.

My journey to Division 1 volleyball wasn't exactly a straight line. I originally committed to Virginia Tech my sophomore year of high school but later de-committed after realizing it wasn’t the right fit for me. In a twist of fate, I found my home at Troy University, and I’ve been here ever since. I’m so grateful for the decision, and looking back, I can honestly say it was meant to be.

At Troy, I’m a Communications major with a minor in Business, and while I’m still figuring out what I want to do post-graduation, I know that whatever path I take, volleyball and my experiences as a student-athlete will always be a part of me.

For this blog, I want to express the importance of physical and mental health as a Student-Athlete at the collegiate level. This is such an important topic and can sometimes go unnoticed at times from the outside. Mental health is something that most athletes struggle with the most. Through this blog I would like to share personal experiences and ways to help improve athletes at the highest levels experiences.
